Brodhead council seeking input on fire fee

BRODHEAD - The City of Brodhead Council is requesting input from its residents on fire response fees. Fire Commissioner Steve Hazeltine spoke to the council on Nov. 17 about adding a fire protection response fee. A fire protection response fee is a way for the fire district to raise revenue by charging a user fee each time the fire district responds to an emergency call.
