Law enforcement awards are May 14
BRODHEAD - The Brodhead Police Department will hold its Law Enforcement Awards Ceremony at 12:15 p.m. Monday, May 14 at Brodhead City Hall, 1111 West 2nd Ave.
The ceremony will recognize years of service of its current members and remember previous members and their service to the citizens of Brodhead.
The event is open to the public. There will be light refreshments following the event at city hall.

MASE skate clinic slated for May 20
MONROE - The Monroe Area Skatepark Enthusiasts will host the fifth annual skate board clinic for ages 7 years and older from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, May 20 at Honey Creek Park.
All participants are required to have a safety helmet and pads. The first 20 participants registered by Monday, May 7 will receive a helmet and pads from Monroe Clinic. There is a limited supply of helmets and pads.
Registration forms are available at the Monroe Parks and Recreation office, 1110 18th Ave.
