DARLINGTON - The Darlington High School bridge project will be featured on a new episode of "In Wisconsin" on Wisconsin Public Television Thursday.
The project began after Joey Wiegel, a Darlington businessman came to the school's wood-tech teacher Richard Anderson with a proposition: Wiegel would pay for the materials if Anderson's shop class students would build a covered bridge for his cabin property. The project led to plans to build an additional bridge, and the bridge project is now in its third school year.
"In Wisconsin" will air on WHA Channel 21 in Madison at 7 p.m. Thursday and again at 4 p.m. Sunday, and 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24.
