BREAKING: Victims named in fatal accident

Green County authorities have released the names of the victims of a triple-fatal, head-on crash Saturday night, in which a 12-year-old boy also was seriously injured and remains hospitalized.The crash was reported around 6:30 p.m. Saturday on Wisconsin Highway 11/81 about one mile west of County Trunk OK, in the town of Jefferson.Sheriff's officials say the initial investigation indicates a car driven by 32-year-old Penny L. Sprauge of Juda, crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a car driven by 40-year-old Cynthia L. Spooner of Brodhead.Both drivers died at the scene. Two passengers from Spooner¹s vehicle, 39-year-old Douglas H. Spooner and 12-year-old Clay Spooner, were helicoptered to the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, where the man died. A sheriff's news release says the boy suffered "very serious" injuries.
