LENA -- The Stott family of rural Lena this morning learned it has been selected for the "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" project.
Local contractors, volunteers and crew members from the popular ABC-TV show will be on site during the next 106 hours to build a new home for the family.
The Stotts received the "door knock" this morning to let them know they have been selected.
The Stotts family lives on U.S. 20 between Freeport and Stockton west of Lena. The section of U.S. 20 near the site will be closed for duration of the build.
