MONROE - The Gavin Breadon Memorial swim meet and silent auction is planned for 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 5, with a social/lunch following the swim meet at the Breadon home. The meet is for alumni lifeguards and MAST members as well as current MAST members and friends of Gavin.
Participants will have an opportunity to bid on art pieces donated by international glass artist, Eoin Breadon, along with a children's raffle drawing from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Saturday. Raffle tickets are three for $1 or 20 for $5. Shirts are on sale for $10.

Pieces by Eoin Breadon and Jacob Stout, Columbus, Ohio, are on display at Boomerang Bakery for viewing and bidding sheets are also available there. Breadon is a Monroe native who has worked, lectured and has pieces on display all over the world. He now resides in San Clemente, Calif.
