MONROE - The Green County Development Corporation will hold its annual meeting and recognition dinner on Monday, April 30 at the Edelweiss Chalet Country Club, W4764 Edelweiss Road, New Glarus.
A reception will begin at 5:30 p.m., followed by a family-style dinner, catered by New Glarus Hotel, at 6:30 p.m. The event is open to the public and costs $40 per person.
Guest speaker is Don McEachern, CEO of North Star Destination Strategies of Nashville, Tenn. North Star has been working on development of a Green County brand for almost a year.
"Don will share how other communities have used their results to capitalize on their investment," said Anna Schramke, Executive Director of GCDC.
McEachern's presentation is titled "Bringing a 2-Dimensional Brand to Life in Your 3-Dimensional Community."
The evening will include an announcement of several awards, including Green County's Outstanding Business of the Year and the Richard B. Schmied Leadership Award.
