On Monday, Jan. 14, the Monroe Board of Public Works:
• Accepted quotes from several companies for various chemicals for the wastewater treatment plant and authorized the chemical purchases.
• Authorized a contract time extension for Kelsey Excavating for final work on TID 8 project.
• Accepted a bill for $5,745 from Hasse Surveying on the Eighth and Ninth streets right of way.
• Authorized Mayor Ron Marsh to gather information from the Finance and Taxation Committee and from the Ordinance and Judiciary Review Committees on changes to the sidewalk installation program to be brought back to the Board of Public Works for future discussion.
