Blackhawk Tech to host Tech Exploration Days

JANESVILLE - Area high school juniors, seniors and all adults interested in exploring new career opportunities can attend Tech Exploration Days at Blackhawk Technical College.

TED offers hands-on experience in careers that are in high demand, such as agribusiness, auto/diesel, business, education, health sciences, information technology, manufacturing and public safety.

Sessions will be held April 17, 18, 19, 24 and 26. Attendees will learn about career outlooks, BTC academic expectations and entrance requirements. The sessions are free, but registration is required. Space is limited.

TED sessions are available in the following fields:



Monroe campus, 210 4th Ave.

• Agriculture Business: 10 a.m. to noon April 18

• Health Sciences: 10 a.m. to noon April 18



Central Campus, 6004 S. County G, Janesville

• Early Childhood Education: 8:45 to 10:30 a.m. April 17

• Health Sciences: 8:30 to 11 a.m. April 17

• Public Safety: 9 to 11 a.m. April 19

• Business: 12:30 to 3 p.m. April 26



Milton Advanced Manufacturing Training Center, 15 Plumb St.

• Manufacturing: 9 a.m. to noon April 24

• Information Technology: 9 a.m. to noon April 24



Center for Transportation Studies, 1740 Wisconsin 14, Janesville

• Auto/Diesel: 8:45 to 11 a.m. April 26
