JANESVILLE - Blackhawk Technical College's five campus sites will host Tech Exploration Days, events which allow high school juniors and seniors and adults interested in technical education to receive hands-on experiences in high-demand fields.
Ten TED events are scheduled beginning Tuesday, Feb. 24, with an Advanced Manufacturing program on the Central Campus that will highlight four areas of study - Heating, Ventilation Air Conditioning; Mechanical Design; Electromechanical Technology; and Computer Service Technician/Manufacturing Information Technology Specialists. The event runs from 8:45 to 11:15 a.m.
Another Advanced Manufacturing showcase will be held from 8:45 to 11:30 a.m. Feb. 25 at Blackhawk's new Advanced Manufacturing Training Center, Milton. The event will feature demonstrations in Industrial Maintenance, Computer Numeric Control and Welding.

Public Safety (Fire Protection and Criminal Justice), 8:45 to 11:15 a.m. March 4
Business and Information Technology (Accounting, Human Resources, IT Web, CST/MITS), 8:45 to 11:15 a.m. March 4
Health Sciences (Nursing, Dental Assistant, Medical Assistant, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Radiography), 12:45 to 3:30 p.m. March 5
The Beloit Center will feature experiences in Early Childhood Education and Health Science (Pharmacy Technician, Nursing Assistant) beginning at 9 a.m. on March 18.
The Monroe Campus will demonstrate its Health Science curriculum in Laboratory Technician, Medical Laboratory Technician from 12:45 to 2:30 p.m. March 5. Also that day, Agribusiness will be featured from 9 to 10:30 a.m.
The Center for Transportation Studies will feature its Automotive and Diesel/Heavy Equipment Technician program from 9 to 11:30 a.m. March 3.
High school students wanting to attend Tech Exploration Days must have written permission from a parent or guardian. A registration form is available in the events section of blackhawk.edu or through the BTC Admissions Department.
