A small group of Black Hawk High School students recently participated in a Medical Career Exploration Day at UW-Platteville. They were introduced to UWP’s opportunities in nursing, microbiology, and the sciences as well as partnerships in physical therapy and physician’s assistant programs. A 1997 Black Hawk graduate, Dr. Schubert is now the director of admissions at the UW-Madison Doctor of Physical Therapy program, housed in the School of Medicine and Public Health.
