MONROE - Woodford State Bank is accepting cash donations, but not furniture or other household items for the victims of Sunday's fire at 1519 Seventh St. in Monroe. Heather Schroeder and her two sons escaped injury in a fire that destroyed their home.

If people have household items or furniture they can leave a message at Super 8 and Schroeder will contact them. She also is looking for a place to store the items.
