The Green County Agriculture and Extension Education Committee will meet at 12 p.m. Agenda items include UW Extension Educator Reports — written report and Area Extension Director/Office Manager Informational Items. 

The Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. Agenda items include Precision Kiosk: for alcohol testing revisit and present research and Hybrid Court or Drug Court make decision for the application for the next cycle.

The Lafayette County Manor Committee will meet in the Multi-purpose building at 5:30 p.m. Agenda items include Manor Management Report and Finance Report.

The New Glarus Public Library Board of Trustees will meet in the Village Hall Community Room at 6:30 p.m. Agenda items include Phased Reopening of the Library and Friends of the Library.

The Green County Land and Water Conservation Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. Agenda items include Status of emptying and removing an illegal manure pit and tour around Green County.

The Wisconsin River Rail Transit Commission will meet at 10 a.m. Agenda items include Wisconsin & Southern Railroad’s Report on Operations and Presentation on Merrimac Bridge Rehabilitation.

The Green County Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee will meet at 5:45 p.m. Agenda items include Review and approve Emergency Management updates and Review Jail Population and Medical issues.


Wednesday, August 11

The Green County emergency Planning Committee will meet at 9 a.m. in the Green County Sheriff’s Department’s Training Room. Agenda items include Election of LEPC Chair, re-appointment of members, designate and approve Compliance Inspector delegated to Wisconsin Emergency Management, review of Hazardous Material Strategic Plan, site plans for fiscal year 2021, and annual computer/hazmat grant, plus reports from committee members and a demonstration from Wisconsin Hazmat Online Planning and Reporting System.
