Coffee cake sought for dairy breakfast

MONROE - The Green County Ag Chest is looking for coffee cake donations for the upcoming Green County Breakfast On the Farm.

Anyone willing to make coffee cakes for the Breakfast On the Farm can contact Craig Kamholz at (608) 214-3330.

The recipe for the coffee cake can be found on the Green County Ag Chest website, www.greencountyagchest.com.

Donors can drop off coffee cakes in the afternoon of Friday, May 25 to Don and Jane Elmer's farm, W6408 County H, New Glarus, or take it to one of the following drop-off sites on Friday morning: Green County Justice Center Extension Office, 2841 6th St., Monroe; New Glarus Home, 600 2nd Ave., New Glarus; and Talmer Bank and Trust, 102 West Main St., Albany.

Emergency magnets now available

MONROE - The Aging and Disability Resource Center and the Green County Satellite office has secured funding to create free I.C.E. (In Case of Emergency) pocket magnets for Green County residents. The magnets provide first responders with medical information in an emergency.

Static stickers are also available to place on entryways to notify first responders that the information can be found inside.

The magnets are available at public library branch offices or by calling the ADRC at (877) 794-2372.
