Argyle man flees Monroe police, gets arrested

MONROE - An Argyle man was arrested Sunday on multiple charges, including drunken driving, after fleeing police in Monroe and then crashing his vehicle near Argyle, according to reports from Monroe Police and the Green County Sheriff's Office. Jacob A. Riley, 21, is jailed on a felony charge of knowingly fleeing an officer and cited for numerous traffic violations. Riley reportedly fled from officers north out of the city after Monroe Police tried to stop him at 2:53 a.m. Sunday for a traffic violation on 22nd Avenue at 4th Street.
