DARLINGTON — An Argyle man with four drunken driving convictions on his record was arrested again for the same offense over the weekend, according to the Darlington Police Department.

Brian E. Johnson, 33, was arrested on the fifth-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at about 1:05 p.m. Saturday, May 4, following a complaint at a business on Main Street in Darlington. He was jailed.

Court records show Johnson was sentenced in 2012 in Grant County to 30 days in jail for his second OWI and in 2013 in Iowa County to 45 days in jail for his third OWI. In April 2017, Lafayette County Judge Duane Jorgenson sentenced him to six months in jail and two years on probation for his fourth OWI.
