ALBANY — Albany Middle School math teacher Andrea Visauer is excited for the progress she has seen in her students this year. 

The Math 24 meet is early spring and the Math Team meet is mid spring. 

There is a large group signed up already. The Math 24 card topics this year will be: 6th grade: positive and negative numbers; 7th grade: fractions and decimals; and 8th grade: algebra (variables) and exponents. 

Questions about either group should be directed to Visauer. The Math 24 and Math Team will start meeting very soon. If your child has not signed up yet, they can pick up a sign-up form from her. 

Students who are confused by a concept or would like help reviewing a test or quiz should note that Visauer is available to help after school until 4 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. She is in before school around 7:30 a.m. to help as well.
