American Legion to host Life Line Screening Nov. 26

MONROE - American Legion No. 84 will host Life Line Screening on Monday, Nov. 26 at the at the post home, 1627 12th Ave.

Stroke and osteoporosis screenings will be available to community members.

Screenings identify potential cardiovascular conditions such as blocked arteries and irregular heart rhythm, abdominal aortic aneurysms and hardening of the arteries in the legs, which is a strong predictor of heart disease.

A bone density screening to assess osteoporosis is also offered.

Packages start at $149. All five screenings take 60 to 90 minutes to complete. Pre-registration is required.
