ALBANY — The Albany Historical Society will hold their next general meeting at 7 p.m. on March 19 at the Albany Historical Museum, 119 North Water St., Albany.

After a short business meeting, there will be a program, featuring Tom LaPoint, local author. LaPoint will give the attendees a glimpse into the lives of the many people he met. How their life’s story showed their character. LaPoint’s latest publishing is called, “Life’s Journey, a Mystery.” 

The meeting is open to the public. The Albany Historical Society is an open membership organization. 

The museum is open each Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon in winter months (Labor Day to Memorial Day), and summer months, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Memorial Day to Labor Day).
