The Green County Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the county sheriff’s training office. Agenda items include review of the jail population and medical issues and review of department updates. 

The New Glarus Triathlon Planning Committee will meet at 4 p.m. in the elementary school. Agenda items include discussion of 2018 proceeds and planning of the 2019 event.

The Monroe Plan Commission will meet at 5 p.m. at City Hall. Agenda items include a public hearing for a conditional use permit application for a parcel of land at the corner of 10th St. and 15th Ave. owned by Kran Enterprises LLC.

The Monroe Finance and Taxation Committee will meet at 5:15 p.m. at City Hall. Agenda items include consideration of the annual 2019 budget.

The New Glarus Parks and Recreation Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. in Village Hall’s board room. Agenda items include discussion of replacing signs at the hall and park and review of proposals for ball field improvement designs.

The New Glarus Public Works/Public Safety Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in Village Hall’s board room. Agenda items include discussion of alcohol license categories and an update on public works projects.

Thursday, October 11

The Lafayette County Highway Committee will meet at 8 a.m. in the highway department conference room. Agenda items include discussion on bridge updates and equipment updates.

The Green County Aging & Disability Advisory Committee will meet at 1 p.m. in the lower-level room 2 at the Government Services Building, N3152 Wis. 81. Agenda items include the ADRC survey and reports from the aging programs coordinator.

The Monroe Senior Citizens Board will meet at 3:30 p.m. in the Behring Senior Center. Agenda items include a presentation from OPN Architects on a feasibility study for the center and discussion of storage space issues. 

The Jordan Town Board will meet at 7 p.m. at Town Hall. Agenda items include officer reports and discussion of the 2019 budget.

The Audit Subcommittee of the Green County Human Services Board will meet at 3 p.m. in the second floor conference room of the government services building, N3152 Wis. 81, Monroe.Agenda items include closed session audit of client-specific bills and open session approval of bills. 

Wednesday, October 17

The Lafayette County Audit Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the county clerk’s office. Agenda items include discussion and audit of county bills. 

The Darlington Community School District Negotiations Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the board meeting room at the elementary/middle school. Agenda items include discussion of school calendars and co-curricular activities.

Monday, October 22

The Green County Drainage Board will meet at 9 a.m. in the county courthouse board room. Agenda items include a public hearing regarding annual reports for two drainage districts and discussion of sending a letter to every person who owns land located in a drainage district.
