Thursday, November 5

The Town of Sylvester Large Scale Livestock Study Committee will meet at 10:30 a.m. at the Monroe Public Library, 925 16th Ave., Monroe.

The Green County Library Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Monroe Public Library. Agenda items include reports on county libraries and discussion of the budget and the board's goals and digital collaboration.



Tuesday, November 10

The quarterly meeting of the Green County Securities and Facilities Committee will be held at 1:15 p.m. in branch one of the Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th St., Monroe.

The Green County Property, Parks and Insurance Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the second-floor conference room of the Green County Courthouse, 1016 16th Ave., Monroe. Agenda items include discussion and possible action regarding county properties.

The Green County Board of Supervisors will meet at 7 p.m. in the county board room of the Green County Courthouse, 1016 16th Ave., Monroe, for a public hearing on the proposed 2016 Green County budget.

Thursday, November 19

The Town of Monroe Board will meet at 6 p.m. at the town hall for a public budget hearing. Agenda items include discussion of the 2016 proposed budget.

The Town of Monroe Board will hold a special town meeting of the electors following the budget meeting. Agenda items include the approval of the 2016 highway expenditures and adoption of the 2015 town tax levy.
