Wednesday, May 2

The Monroe Housing Authority will meet at 10 a.m. in the community room of Churchill Woods Apartments, 800 13th Avenue. Agenda items include general office updates and closed session regarding employee changes.

The Green County Criminal Justice Coordinating Committee will meet at 3:30 p.m. in the lower-level multipurpose room of the county justice center. Agenda items include updates on the drug court team progress and discussion on an interagency exchange of statistics.

The Argyle school board will meet at 5 p.m. in the Argyle High School Library. Agenda items include closed-session discussion of principal candidates.

The Monroe License Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the City Hall Annex, 1821 12th Street. Agenda items include consideration of a temporary extension of Leisure Lanes Inc. licensed area in conjunction with car shows and bean bags league and review of a Green County Cheese Days dance license application.

The Monroe Judiciary and Ordinance Review Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the City Hall Annex. Agenda items include review of an ordinance repealing a section of city code outlining the repeal of the Information Technology Committee and recreating of city code regarding the issuance of dance licenses.



Thursday, May 3

The Green County Land and Water Conservation Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the USDA Service Center, 1627 4th Ave., Monroe. Agenda items include review of operational agreement with the Natural Resource Conservation Service and possible extension of the moratorium on animal feedlot permitting.

The Agriculture and Extension Education Committee will meet at 12:30 p.m. in the Extension office of the Green County Justice Center. Agenda items include educator reports and an update on the ag educator position posting.



Tuesday, May 8

The Green County Tourism Board will meet at 10:30 a.m. in the upstairs conference room of the Green County Courthouse. Agenda items include a preview of Alice in Dairyland by Melanie Judd and community updates.

A quorum of the Green County Livestock Facility Study Group may be present during the 7 p.m. meeting of the Green County Board of Supervisors at the Green County Courthouse. Members will be available to answer questions regarding recommendations made to the supervisors, but are unlikely to take formal action during the proceedings.



Wednesday, May 9

The Green County Law Enforcement and Public Safety Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. in the training/meeting room of the Green County Sheriff's Office. Agenda items include review of emergency management updates and jail population and medical issues.



Thursday, May 10

The Albertson Memorial Library Board will meet at 6:30 p.m. at the library, 200 N. Water St., Albany.



Thursday, May 17

The Monroe Public Library Board of Trustees will meet at 7 p.m. at Monroe Public Library.
