The Green County National Historic Cheesemaking Center will meet at 5 p.m. at Turner Hall Ratskeller. Members and volunteers are welcome to attend.

The Monroe Finance and Taxation Committee will meet at 6:15 p.m. at the westside fire station. Agenda items include fees for dog park licenses and tags and goals and guidance for the 2018 budget.

The Monroe Public Safety Committee will meet at 6:50 p.m. at the westside fire station. Agenda items include consideration of special events and review of long-term, annual amplified sound permits.

The Green County Finance and Accounting Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the first floor conference room of the Green County Courthouse. Agenda items include the treasurer's report and discussion of county board supervisor emails.

The Monroe Board of Public Works will meet at 7 p.m. at the westside fire station. Agenda items include authorization of hiring a consulting engineer for the wastewater treatement plant.

The Monroe License Committee will meet at 7:15 p.m. at the westside fire station. Agenda items include consideration of temporary class B malt beverage license for the American Legion in conjunction with the Green County Fair and consideration of transferring a class A fermented malt beverage and liquor license held by Kwik Trip Inc. from 1019 9th St. to 720 8th Ave.

The Monroe Common Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the westside fire station. Agenda items include review of feasibility report to create Tax Increment District 10 and closed discussion regarding the failed city hall flooring project and how to proceed.



Thursday, July 6

The Green County Land and Water Conservation Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the USDA Service Center, 1627 4th Ave. West in Monroe. Agenda items include action on moratorium on animal feedlot permitting.
