Wednesday, January 8

The Lafayette County Fair Committee will meet at 10:30 a.m. at Chula Vista, 701 E. Louisa St., Darlington. Agenda items include a review of the schedule and fair convention for 2020 and an entertainment recap and ideas for the 2020 fair. 

The Green County Agriculture and Extension Education Committee will meet at 12:30 p.m. in the Green County Justice Center, 2841 6th St. Agenda items include discussion on the health and well being educator and the food wise nutrition educator positions.

The Green County Health Committee will meet at 4:15 p.m. in the Government Services Building, first floor conference room 112, N3152 Wisconsin 81, Monroe. Agenda items include information on marijuana by Bob Gibson, AODA supervisor for GCHS and a health officer report. 

The Brodhead School Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the District Office Board Room. Agenda items include approval of early graduation applications and approval of eighth grade end of year class trip. 

Thursday, January 9

The Lafayette County Joint Manor/Hospital Committee will meet at 8 a.m. in the MHLC conference room. Agenda items include a presentation on Wipfli for MHLC and for the Lafayette Manor. 

The Lafayette County Land Conservation Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the County Board Room at the Lafayette County Courthouse. Agenda items include discussion and possible action on the proposed rent and upgrades of the Darlington Ag Office and the contribution agreement with NRCS. 

The Green County Aging and Disability Advisory Committee will meet at 1 p.m. in the Government Services Building, lower level meeting rooms, room 2, N3152 Wisconsin 81, Monroe. Agenda items include New Glarus nutrition site changes and a the ADRC supervisor report. 

The Lafayette County Highway Committee will meet at 8:30 a.m. in the highway department conference room. Agenda items include discussion and possible action on bridge updates and major purchases for 2020. 

The Green County Solid Waste Management Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the Green County Solid Waste Management Office. Agenda items include an update on landfill operations and discussion and possible action on landfill manager’s vacation. 

The Green County Land and Water Conservation Committee will meet at 10 a.m. in the USDA Service Center, 1627 4th Ave. West. Agenda items include a staff resignation and committee concerns. 

Tuesday, January 14

The Green County Law Enforcement Committee and Public Safety Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the Green County Sheriff’s training/meeting office. Entrance is located in the back of the sheriff’s department. Agenda items include a review and updates on the radio system and non-lapsing funds for the 2020 budget.

The Lafayette County Human Services Board will meet at 4:45 p.m. at the human services office, 15701 County K, Darlington.
