• The Monroe Main Street Design Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. at Cafe Claudeen's. Agenda items include an update on banners.

TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 5

• The City of Monroe Salary & Personnel Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include approval of classification upgrades for Street Department employees.

• The Village of New Glarus Personnel/Finance Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. at village hall.

• The City of Monroe Claims Committee will meet at 6:45 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include review of claims from Shriner-Hager-Golke Funeral Home and take action.

• The City of Monroe Judiciary and Ordinance Review Committee will meet at 6:55 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include review and possible action on suggested changes to Monroe City Code regarding mandatory sidewalk installation.

• The New Glarus Village Board will meet at 7 p.m. at village hall. Agenda items include a tour of New Glarus Brewery at 2400 Wisconsin 69.

• The City of Monroe Common Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include a public hearing on and roll call vote for approving a restated development agreement, general development plan and specific implementation plan (phase 1) for Wal-Mart Supercenter Large Scale Retail Development.

• The Monticello School Board will hold a special informational meeting at 7:30 p.m. in the high school band room. Agenda items include a public forum on an April 1 referendum.

• The Green County Finance and Accounting Committee will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the basement conference room in the Green County Courthouse. Agenda items include a treasurer's report.
