The Green County Health Committee will meet at 4:15 p.m. in the Government Services Building, first floor conference room #112, N3152 Wisconsin 81. Agenda items include a presentation of Green County Community Needs Assessment and a Community Health Improvement Report.

The Village of New Glarus Parks & Recreation Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the Village Hall board room, 319 2nd St. Agenda items include a recommendation for a special event permit and an update on the Village Park sand volleyball court maintenance. 

The Village of New Glarus Public Works/Public Safety Committee meeting will be at 7 p.m. in the Village Hall community room, 319 2nd St. Agenda items include street use permit applications for the New Glarus homecoming parade and the for the Glenda K. Scott Run. 


Thursday, August 15

The Lafayette County Planning & Zoning Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the Lafayette County Courthouse UW-Extension lobby. Agenda items include discussion and possible action on the creation of a wind ordinance and a report from the department head. 

The Green County Auditing, Bonding & Claims Committee will meet at 10 a.m. in the Green County Courthouse finance conference room. Agenda items include closed session. 

The Green County Development Corporation will meet at 7:30 a.m. at Blackhawk Technical College, 210 4th Ave. Agenda items include updates from staff and a community roundtable/partner reports and board member business to advance economic development in the county.

The Lafayette County Fair Committee will meet at 7 p.m. at the Lafayette County Courthouse, first floor, foyer. Agenda items include  discussion and possible action regarding Pecatonica Antique Club contract and Grandstand events 2019. 

The Village of New Glarus Design Review Committee will meet at 8 a.m. in the Village Hall board room, 319 2nd St. Agenda items include discussion and consideration of the New Glarus Chamber of Commerce mural project.


Friday, August 16

The Wisconsin River Rail Transit Commission will meet at 10 a.m. at the Dane County Highway Garage, 2302 Fish Hatchery Road, Madison. Agenda items include Wisconsin & Southern Railroad’s report on operations and discussion regarding Hatchery Road, Spring Grove, Illinois.

The Lafayette County Audit Committee will meet at 8 a.m. in the Lafayette County Clerk’s Office. Agenda items include discussion and possible action on an audit of county bills.


Tuesday, August 20

The Lafayette County Finance Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the Lafayette County Courthouse, room 202. Agenda items include discussion and possible action regarding repayment terms for Wisconsin Whey Protein.
