The Green County Zoning and Land Use Committee will meet at 10:30 a.m. in the basement conference room of the Green County Courthouse. Agenda items include review of zoning department bills and possible action regulating wind energy.

The Monroe Public Safety Committee will meet at 4:45 p.m. at Monroe City Hall. Agenda items include discussion and possible approval of no parking area on the 2500 block of 12th Street and consideration of special event permits.

The Monroe Board of Public Works will meet at 5:15 p.m. at Monroe City Hall. Agenda items include discussion of a pipeline crawler camera system and a presentation by Schneider Electric regarding their findings in an energy efficiency study of City Hall, the Behring Senior Center, and the Wastewater Treatment Facility.

The Green County Public Library Board will meet at 5:30 p.m. at the Brodhead Public Library. Agenda items include the budget and board objectives.

The Monroe School District Finance Committee will meet at 6:15 p.m. in the District Administrative Center, 925 16th Avenue, third floor. Agenda items include a summary of all expenditures and a board payroll report.

The Monroe School Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the District Administrative Center. Agenda items include acceptance of community donations and approval of instructional staff resignations.

The Black Hawk School Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the district library. Agenda items include discussion of capital improvements for gym floor and roofs and disposal of busses.



Tuesday, August 15

The Green County Human Services Board Audit Subcommittee will meet at 3 p.m. in the second-floor conference room of the Government Services Building. Agenda items include convening in closed session to evaluate client bills for payment and approval of bills in open session.

The Monroe Salary and Personnel Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the westside fire station. Agenda items include 2018 wages for non-represented employees and closed business to negotiate expiring AFSCME union contracts.
