Monday, April 16

The Green County Highway Committee will meet at 9:30 a.m. at the Green County Highway Commissioner's office, 2813 6th St., Monroe. Agenda items include bids for road and bridge work.

The Green County Auditing, Bonding & Claims Committee will meet at 10 a.m. in the Finance Conference Room of the Green County Courthouse. Agenda items include closed session to audit client-specific bills and departmental requests.

The Monroe Board of Public Works will meet at 4:30 p.m. in the City Hall Annex, 1821 12th St. Agenda items include approval of the final change order to conclude the wastewater facility project and authorization to make a salt bid for 2018-19.

The Monroe Public Safety Committee will meet at 5 p.m. in the City Hall Annex. Agenda items include consideration of special event permit applications.

The Monroe Salary & Personnel Committee will meet at 5:10 in the City Hall Annex. Agenda items include revising deputy fire chief description to part-time and authorization to fill position of park supervisor.

The Darlington Community School District Technology Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the board room of Darlington Elementary/Middle School. Agenda items include discussion of district technology needs and data wiring at the high school.

The Darlington Community School District Board will meet at 6 p.m. in the in the board room of Darlington Elementary/Middle School. Agenda items include audit of bills and verification of election results.

The Monroe Historic Preservation Commission will meet at 7 p.m. in the City Hall Annex. Agenda items include a certificate of appropriateness application for 1713 11th Street.

The Monroe License Committee will meet at 7:15 p.m. in the City Hall Annex. Agenda items include review of application for possession of live chickens and a temporary "Class B" fermented malt beverage and wine license in conjunction with a Monroe Youth Hockey Association Kentucky Derby event.

The Monroe Common Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall Annex. Agenda items include a presentation regarding the 2016 annual audit and department budgets and a memo of understanding with the city labor union regarding the wage rate for a water operator in training.

The Town of Sylvester will meet at 7:30 p.m. at the Town Hall. The regular monthly board meeting to immediately follow.



Tuesday, April 17

The Village of New Glarus Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the village hall board room. Agenda items include a closed session to discuss the appeal of an application for a license to sell alcohol and approval of special events.

The Monroe Common Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the City Hall Annex. Agenda items include recognition of outgoing aldermen and administration of the oath to recently elected officials.

The Lafayette County Board of Supervisors will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the Lafayette County Courthouse. Agenda items include a presentation by Economic Development Coordinator Abby Haas and a resolution to apply for state funding for public snowmobile and ATV trails.



Wednesday, April 18

The Blackhawk Technical College Finance Committee will meet at 3 p.m. in the board room of the Janesville Administrative Center. Agenda items include review of the quarterly financial report and recommending approval of modifications to the 2017-18 budget.
