The Monroe Board of Public Works will meet at 5:05 p.m. at the westside fire station. Agenda items include hiring a contractor for the south shelter roof work and a contractor for the dog park fencing.

The Historic Preservation Commission will meet at 1:30 p.m. at the westside fire station. Agenda items include a certificate of appropriateness for Bartels & Co Tap and discussion of lighted and non-lighted signs in windows of bars.

The Green County Human Services Board will meet at 2 p.m. in the administrative conference room, Government Services Building, Monroe. Agenda items include discussion of Human Services Day and board nominations.

The Green County Property, Parks and Insurance Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the second-floor conference room, Green County Courthouse, 1016 16th Ave., Monroe. Agenda items include discussion of sale of property and the Courthouse, Pleasant View farm and Justice Center properties.

Wednesday, April 19

The Town of Monroe Open Book will be from 10 a.m. to noon in the Town Hall. The tax roll will be available for inspection and personnel will be available to answer questions.

The Board of Parks and Recreation Commissioners will meet at 5:15 p.m. at the city parks garage. Agenda items include discussion on feasibility study for Behring Senior Center at East School Park and lighting at Water Tower Park.



Thursday, April 20

The Green County Pleasant View Nursing Home Oversight Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the administrator office at Pleasant View Nursing Home. Agenda items include discussion of staff recruitment and the mechanical upgrade project.

The Town of Monroe annual meeting will be at 6 p.m. in the Town Hall. Agenda items include presentation of the 2016 financial statement. Monthly meeting to follow.

The Village of New Glarus and Town of New Glarus Joint Extraterritorial Zoning Committee will meet at 6 p.m. in the Village Hall boardroom, 319 2nd St., New Glarus. Agenda items include discussion of a conditional use permit for Todd and Janet Kuehl (DBA Baileys Run Vineyard).
