Monday, Jan. 12

The Darlington Community School District's Policy Committee will meet at 7:30 a.m. in the Board Room at the elementary/middle school. Agenda items include a review and discussion of practice times.

The City of Monroe Common Council members may be present at an informal meeting of the City of Monroe Department heads at 9:30 a.m. at City Hall Council Chambers, 1110 18th Ave. for information gathering purposes. No action will be taken by Council members.

The South Central Library System Board of Trustees will meet at 12:15 p.m. at the SCLS Administration office at 5250 East Terrace Dr., Madison. Agenda items include the 2009 SCLS Annual Meeting and election of officers.

The Monroe Main Street Board of Directors will meet at 5:15 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include establishing priorities for 2009 through review of Implementation Strategy Board.

The Albany Village Board of Trustees will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Village Hall. Agenda items include appointing John Koopmans to the Albany Housing Authority.

The Monroe School Board Finance Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the District Administrative Center. Agenda items include approval of foreign language proposal.

The School District of Albany Board of Education will meet at 7 p.m. in the school library. The board will draw lots for the ballot order in the spring election. Agenda items include continued referendum discussion.

The Black Hawk school board will meet at 7 p.m. in the library of the South Wayne school. Agenda items include a closed session for administrators evaluation, with action possible on matters discussed in executive session.

The Monroe School Board will meet at 7 p.m. in the District Administrative Center. Agenda items include approval of parent-teacher conference change and a request to waive travel study policy.

The School District of New Glarus Committee of the Whole will meet at 7:15 p.m. in the high school library. Agenda items include a discussion of considering a DPI school district consolidation feasbility study grant.

The Argyle school board will meet at 7:30 p.m. in the high school library. Agenda items include an update on the Pecatonica-Argyle consolidation study, and the possibility of convening into closed session to confer on a legal matter.

The Sylvester Town Caucus will start at 7:30 p.m. at the Sylvester Town Hall. The Sylvester Town Board will meet for a regular board meeting following the caucus.

Tuesday, Jan. 13

The Monroe Main Street Restructuring Committee 8 a.m. at the Century 21 office. Agenda items include update on any new or filled vacancies in Downtown

The Green County Drainage Board will meet at 9 a.m. in the conference room in the Green County Courthouse. Agenda items include drainage district maps for the Decatur, Green County #1 and Green County #2 Districts.

The City of Monroe Downtown Business Improvement District Board of Directors will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the courthouse basement conference room. Agenda items include discussion of new options regarding parking meter changes being considered in conjunction with streetscape project.

The Village of Albany Building, Grounds and Cemetery Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Village Hall. Agenda items include repairs at the village shop.

The Green County Personnel and Labor Relations Committee will meet at 6:45 p.m. in the jury room in the Green County Courthouse. Agenda items include the highway union contract.

The Green County Property, Parks and Insurance Committee will meet at 7 p.m. in the jury room at the Green County Courthouse. Agenda items include a sale price for Green Acres green space lot.

The Green County Veterans and Emergency Management Committee will meet at 7:15 p.m. in the north library at the Green County Courthouse. Agenda items include monthly bills.

Wednesday, Jan. 14

The City of Monroe Plan Commission will meet at 5 p.m. at city hall. Agenda items include discuss and possible take action regarding request for changing exterior building materials for Wal-Mart PUD.

The Green County Health Committee will meet at 5:15 p.m. in the health department in the Pleasant View Complex. The Green County Law Enforcement Committee will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the sheriff's office. Agenda items include the monthly jail population.

The Green county Joint law Enforcement Committee and Emergency Management Committee will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the sheriff's department training center.
