DARLINGTON - Five people will be interviewed April 7 and 8 for the Darlington superintendent position.
Current Superintendent Joe Galle plans to retire at the end of the school year.
The five finalists are:
Christopher Thomalla, superintendent of the Elcho school district. His district is consolidating with another and his position will be eliminated.
Christopher Nelson, superintendent at Rice Lake.
Linda Erickson, curriculum supervisor in Darlington.
Gordon Geurink, interim superintendent at Cochrane-Fountain City.
Steve Shaw, high school principal in Prescott.
Galle said the position is full time and he hopes to have someone in place by the end of April.
