MONROE - The third annual Green County Premier Exhibitor contest was held at the 2013 Green County Fair recently to recognize 4-H and FFA members who have shown exceptional involvement and knowledge in their respective project area.

The Premier Exhibitor contest was open to any exhibitor in the areas of swine, dairy, beef, sheep and goats. It included two age divisions: The junior division was for exhibitors in grades three through eight with the senior division being for exhibitors in grades nine and up. Contestants participated in showmanship, a skillathon, and took a 25-point knowledge quiz as part of the event. The skillathon consisted of four stations: breed identification, equipment identification, meat and cheese identification and feedstuffs identification.
