MONROE - Two pets can be adopted for the price of one adoption at the Green County Humane Society animal shelter through the end of the year.
Two kittens up to the age of 1 year can be adopted for $63. One kitten is available for $32.
Two adult cats can be adopted for $30, or one adult cat for $15.
Dogs and puppies also are available for adoption at half price. Two dogs cost $98, while one costs $49.
All animals adopted from GCHS have been seen by an area veterinarian and are up-to-date on vaccinations. Animals that are old enough have been spayed or neutered.
All adoptions are pending an approved application by GCHS.
To see animals available for adoption, stop by the GCHS shelter at 1500 6 1/2 Ave. in Monroe. Hours of operation are from noon to 8 p.m. Tuesday, and from noon to 5 p.m. Thursday through Sunday. The shelter is closed Monday, Wednesday and holidays.
