MONROE - A Blanchardville man became an instant millionaire by winning a scratch-off lottery game that he purchased in Monroe, the Wisconsin Lottery said Thursday.

David Soland won the second million-dollar prize in the Classic Millions scratch game. He purchased his ticket at Southern Wisconsin Coop on 13th Street in Monroe. Retailers get a 2-percent incentive of the winning ticket up to $100,000, lottery officials said.

One of the game's million-dollar prizes is still available. Each ticket costs $30.
