SWCAP continues services

MONROE — SWCAP is committed to providing essential services throughout Grant, Green, Iowa, Lafayette and Richland counties, during the COVID-19 public health crisis. The group expect to face interesting challenges as we grapple with issues relating to social distancing.

As of March 18:

Food pantries in Arena, Boscobel, Darlington, Dodgeville, Hazel Green and Monroe remain open. We are pre-boxing all foods, operating with very limited staff and limiting interaction between volunteers and pantry guests.

We continue to provide medically-necessary rides through our LIFT program. Our ability to continue these rides will depend on availability of drivers.

Homeless assistance programs continue to operate.

All other programs have temporarily limited or suspended services.

If you are healthy and want to learn more about volunteering for a SWCAP food pantry or providing a medically-necessary ride to someone in need, please contact SWCAP and let us know. For detailed contact information and details about availability of services, visit: www.swcap.org/covid19.html.
