MONROE — Beginning Monday, June 28, Green County Public Health COVID-19 testing will move to the Green County Public Health department (N3152 Wis. 81, Monroe, WI 53566) and will operate on Mondays from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
There is no appointment needed to get tested, but individuals should register for their test ahead of time at gcpublichealth.org. After registering people will be emailed a QR code (like a bar code) that they will need to bring to get tested — either on their smart phone or printed. People who do not have access to internet or a computer can register on-site. Registering ahead of time makes the testing process easier for staff and community members.
When coming to Green County Public Health to get tested, it is ask that people remain in their vehicle and follow the signs. Testing will take place under the over-hang in the front of the building.
Testing is open to anyone 12 months of age and older. People 12 months to 17 years old will need a parent or guardian with them to get tested.
The last day of COVID-19 testing at the Colony Brands Outlet Store parking lot was Monday, June 21. There will not be COVID-19 testing available on Wednesday, June 23.
People experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 and unvaccinated people who have been in close contact with someone tested positive for COVID-19, who have health insurance, are encouraged to contact their healthcare provider to get tested for COVID-19. Additional options for COVID-19 testing can be found on the Wisconsin Department of Health Services website, COVID-19 testing webpage: https://www.dhs.wisconsin.gov/covid-19/
