State Bank of Cross Plains provided targeted impact relief grants to local businesses, including Gabriella’s Restaurant in Albany.

MADISON — The State Bank of Cross Plains has disbursed $15,000 in relief grants split equally among three businesses as part of a program that addresses the needs of populations hit hardest by the COVID-19 crisis. Gabriella’s Restaurant, Albany, was one of the three businesses that received the grant.

State Bank of Cross Plains applied for and received the grant funding through the Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago’s COVID-19 Targeted Impact Fund.

These Targeted Impact grants were created to enable a Minority or Women Business Enterprise (MBE or WBE) to develop, grow or rebuild their small business; support and advance a more fair and inclusive society for Black and Latino communities, including career development, job training, education, childcare, healthcare/wellness and more; provide services or support for populations hardest hit by COVID-19, such as the elderly and promote, provide or support affordable housing options for vulnerable populations.
