It was a great day for a picnic at the Clover Hill cheese factory located east of Monticello on County Trunk C in July of 1911. The Limburger cheesemaker, John Meier Sr., was the great grandfather of Silvan Blum, cheesemaker at the Deppeler cheese factory in Clarno Township.
