This photo of the Mars II silent electric automobile was the first unit off the production line at Electric Fuel Propulsion, Inc in Ferndale, Michigan in 1968. Wisconsin Power and Light was the first utility in the world to purchase this advanced design electric car. In February of 1969, the car was displayed in front of the company on the east side of the Square. Do you remember this car being on display back then? Contact us. Comments or stories if you remember this event can be directed to P.O. Box 804, or Linda Lostetter at lostetter68@gmail.com.
