Dr. Herbert Steussy and pilot Bill Earleywine stand in front of a 1946 Taylorcraft airplane before departing Brodhead Airport in February 1947. A winter blizzard had closed many rural roads in the area and Mr. Earleywine flew Dr. Steussy to several farms to make house calls.
