Dr. Harden was Monticello’s Osteopathic physician from 1939 until his untimely death from a heart attack at age 51 in 1960. He was a true “country doctor,” making house calls regardless of the time of day, weather conditions or rural location. He also served patients from his home office at 239 N. Main St.
