Jesse Jordan, Monroe, talks about his best friends Milo, a 1-year-old cat, and Tucker, a 4-month-old black lab.

Jordan has always been a cat person, but to appease his fiancee Bailey Buol, he agreed to get a dog if he could have a cat.

The couple got Milo from Buol’s parents who found him abandoned and rescued him. Jordan eventually held up his end of the bargain and they got Tucker from a litter of puppies from Buol’s stepsister, Miranda Klein. Tucker was the runt of the litter and the last one left.

Although Jordan was skeptical about dogs, he says he and Tucker have bonded. Buol said she thinks Tucker was determined to prove Jordan wrong about dogs.

“He’s definitely a daddy’s boy,” Buol said referring to Tucker.
