MONTICELLO — A community dinner sponsored by Zwingli United Church of Christ is planned for 5:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 26. The monthly dinner is meant to be a place where everyone can come and gather for food and fellowship. This is not a fundraiser and is meant to be a night out with neighbors.

The event will be planned for the last Monday afternoon of each month and is free and is open to all ages. Each month different volunteers form the church and community make a main course while others bring sides and desserts. During the school year the Hands of Change Youth Service group will set up, serve and clean up the meal. To learn more about this program or how you to help, contact Lance Smith at 815-938-4369.
