MONTICELLO - Jordan Zweifel, Monticello, will be presenting her piece "The Lonely" as part of the Emerging Choreography Performance on Thursday, May 2.
Zweifel choreographed the piece after attending the National Choreography Intensive program last year on a full scholarship. It was first presented at Dance Wisconsin's New Works Concert last October and then chosen in February to be performed at the Midstates Regional Dance America Festival.
Zweifel, 18, is a graduating senior from Monticello. She is the daughter of Brenda and Brian Zweifel and has danced at Monona Academy of Dance since she was 4 and joined the Dance Wisconsin Company several years ago. Zweifel will also be performing in several other pieces at the festival, including "Free" choreographed by Chelsey Dahm.
