MONROE - Youth Ministry of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, formerly St. Victor Parish and St. Rose of Lima, Brodhead, will show Jesus' last two days through two mime performance. This will be their fourth year inviting the public to come and quietly reflect with them.
Jane McAuliffe, director of youth Ministry for St. Clare, started to work with the Mime program after it was brought to her attention by a music teacher she worked with.
"The mime turned into a beautiful experience that has continued at that high school for the last twenty years," McAuliffe said.
She brought the script with her when she came to Monroe and presented it to the group of Youth Ministers at St. Clare. McAuliffe said that the students have done a wonderful job with the unique presentation and have added some of their own unique talents and suggestions.
Presentations are scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 4, as well as 7 p.m. Friday, April 6 at St. Victor Church, 1760 14th St. There is no charge, but there will be a free will offering.
