YMCA plans open house for aquatic programs

MONROE - The Green County YMCA is hosting an Aquatics Open House Saturday, Aug. 28, and children will get a chance to try log rolling and snorkeling.

From 9 to 10 a.m. an instructor will demonstrate log rolling, snorkeling, swim team, a Splash and Laugh adaptive recreation class and swim lessons. Children will get a chance to try each of the YMCA's programs.

From 10 to 11 a.m. an instructor will demonstrate adult classes including Aqua Zumba, a water aerobic class, H2O Pilates, Hydro Core Cuff, Water Fitness and Work It Out/Prime Time.

The open house will include giveaways and door prizes including free classes. Coffee, drinks and treats will be provided. Winners for the giveaways must be present to win.
