BLANCHARDVILLE — To commemorate their 150th anniversary as a church, the congregation of Yellowstone Lutheran Church in is holding a special celebration church service at 10 a.m. July 15 at the church, 4472 Saints Road, rural Argyle/Blanchardville. The service will be followed by a catered community meal.

Special music with include the Point Brass band, a combined choir and soloists. A display of quilts and other artifacts and sale of commemorative items are planned. Individuals will be available to help locate the gravesites of loved ones. A golf cart will be available for those with limited mobility. 

Afternoon music will be provided by Ron and Rosalie Kittleson from 1 to 2 p.m. and cake, coffee and root beer floats will be served.
