Jeff Ingebritsen, right, was recently recognized for his decades of service to the Friends of the Monroe Public Library by President Judy Huber. 

Ingebritsen has served as treasurer for the group since the 1990s and was instrumental in forming the organization. Ingebritsen’s fundraising efforts were key in the library finding a new home. Friends’ memberships are available at the Monroe Public Library.
