Liz Kiley’s fourth-grade students at Parkside Elementary School in Monroe have let their creative minds flow during Writing Workshop. 

They are currently writing realistic fictional stories based on a personal event in their lives. Students are focusing on creating strong characters, exciting settings, interesting plots with a conflict and then solving their conflict with a resolution. Students will draft and then publish their final stories.
