DARLINGTON — Woodford State Bank announced a $5,000 donation to the Driver Opera House in support of its restoration and revitalization efforts. As part of this contribution, the bank has secured naming rights for one of the historic building’s second-floor windows; a meaningful way to show continued commitment to community heritage and the arts.

The Driver Opera House, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is a beloved landmark in Darlington with a mission to preserve and celebrate local history, culture, and the performing arts. Through community donations and support, the organization is working to bring new life to the space.

“This donation reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting the places that bring our communities together,” said Scott DeNure, President and CEO of Woodford State Bank. “The Driver Opera House is not only a historic treasure, but also a symbol of community pride, creativity, and shared vision.”

With a rich history and strong local roots, Woodford State Bank is proud to support efforts that preserve cultural landmarks and strengthen the communities it serves.
